Norbert is deployed in multiple facilities and monitors hundreds of patients daily, working on one of healthcare's hardest problems: a global nursing shortage expected to reach 40% by 2030. The team is small and international, with offices in Brooklyn, Paris, and Montreal.
Role Overview
Norbert is hiring its first Deployment Operations Manager to own the rollout and daily operation of its robot deployments. You will lead the remote operator team, build the metrics system that proves long-term customer value, and work with product and engineering to make operations faster and more efficient. You will be the operational face of Norbert to its customers.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end deployment plans for new robot installations, from site readiness through go-live and stabilization
Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for customers, including on-site visits as needed (about 30% travel)
Manage a team of remote operators and improve workflow efficiency
Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals for each operator and the team, and run regular performance reviews
Build and maintain a management system that tracks operator behavior, quality, and deployment health
Define and report the success metrics needed to show value
Partner with product and engineering to turn operational bottlenecks into requirements
Communicate status, issues, and results to customers and leadership clearly and professionally
Qualifications
3+ years in program management, implementation, or operations, with at least 2 years managing people
Experience operating in healthcare facilities and working closely with healthcare staff
A track record of delivering complex rollouts or deployments on schedule
Strong data fluency and metrics frameworks
Enough technical understanding to discuss system issues with engineers and troubleshoot with operators
Experience managing remote contractors
Professional, confident communication with external customers and executives
Experience with AI tools

Experience coordinating deployments or field servicing hardware
Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment
Experience with robotics, automation, or hardware deployments
