About Theta Neurotech
Theta Neurotech is developing a wearable EEG patch designed to predict epileptic seizures 30 to 60 minutes before onset, with the goal of improving quality of life for people living with drug-resistant epilepsy.
Role Overview
Theta Neurotech is seeking a Fractional Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering Lead. This team member will work alongside our CTO (Christopher Fitz) and HW / FW Lead (Wayne Hopp, III) to advance our EEG patch's industrial design, mechanical form factor, and electrode interface.
Qualifications
Prior experience with a successful, wearable, on-skin medical sensor
A deep network of firms and engineers that can support upcoming in-the-weeds engineering efforts
Familiarity With These Product Components
Stick-to-skin, reusable / rechargeable electronics
Consumable electrode / adhesive interfaces, with conductivity requirements
Biocompatibility and skin irritation challenges associated with chronic monitoring
Human factors and usability study designs
